8 Most Interesting Places To Visit In Lembongan Island

If you are tired of traveling around the island in Bali, especially the general congestion in various locations in Denpasar, you may need to cross to Lembongan Island. Just take a speedboat from Sanur Beach, and in 30 minutes you will stop at Jungutbatu Pier, or at Mushroom Bay on Nusa Lembongan Island. 

The atmosphere here is calmer, but there are many activities to do. In Lembongan, there are many choices of tourist objects. It is almost certain that if you spend 2-3 days on the weekend, your vacation will be unforgettable. 

Here are some places in Nusa Lembongan that you can visit:

1. Jungut Batu Beach

This place is called Long Beach by tourists because the beach is very long. Most speedboats stop here. There are also various types of accommodation on this beach. 

2. Sandy Bay or Sunset Beach

This white sand beach is home to several resorts. Due to its location, this is the best place to enjoy the sunset. The waves also attract surfers. 

3. Mushroom Bay

also known as Sanghyang Bay, is lined with hotels, resorts and cafes on both sides of this white sandy beach. One of the diving spots is close to the beach and not far from the surfers playground. The location is on the other side of Lembongan Island. From Jungut Batu you can ride a motorcycle for about 10-15 minutes. 

4. Mangroves

The mangrove forest is located in the northeast of Lembongan Island. To get around it, there is a 30-minute tour package around the mangroves, plus snorkeling at three points near Lembongan, Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Penida. The cost is around IDR 300,000, but you can also choose a mangrove tour. 

5. Dream Beach

This beach is only 115 meters long, but it is quieter than Jungut Batu and Mushroom Bay. There are towering cliffs that inspire tourist's selfie instincts. There are multiple accommodations at this location. 

6. Devil’s Tears

One of the places to enjoy the sunset on Lembongan Island. There is a cliff shape with super fast waves at the bottom. Its location is on the east side of the island. Not far from Dream Beach 

7. Goa Gala Gala

located at Jalan Hangtuah Number 46 in Nusa Lembongan. It is the basement of a house built by residents in 1961-1976.

8. Panorama Point

In the afternoon, take some time to hike up the mountain to Panorama Point. From this position you can see Jungut Batu in the distance. For tourists who want to relax, there is also a coffee shop.
